  • This show scared me so much when I first saw it. I kept thinking I would be in the same situation as Sato. Fucking wake up call. - StormMage
  • Why does this have dislikes? It's a conspiracy. - Anime Lover 39
  • This is the best slice of life anime ever - Bob Frankfurter
  • I remember watching this with a group of friends I know and it was psychically painful to watch because Sato reminds me of well myself. 23, no job, living with my mom and going through college still. (Dad passed away 3 weeks ago) Though the anime itself was pretty depressing which didn't help matters as I was going through a pretty hard rough patch at that point. This anime speaks truth. It's not pleasant and doesn't sugarcoat it. You won't achieve your dreams so just try and enjoy your life and be outgoing. It's all you can really hope for. - Webshooters1
  • Just watched the last episode... I gonna miss those characters... - Bruno Cesar VS
  • I marathon-ed this on Netflix. Such an underrated anime. - MoongemVAA
  • BEGONE DIRTY WHORES!!! - TyronMakeka
  • The off meeting was the funniest XD...not in that way - Brian Ung
  • Best anime I have seen. Just because of how real it is. You won't achieve all of your goals, so you should just do with what you already have. - JuicePouch
  • Hands down, best anime opening ever. - Scariust
  • The show was good if you paid attention but I love the opening sons so much, I've listened to it so many times I can almost sing it - Ayashiki B
  • its kinda hard to believe but shows like these save lives. after 2 suicide attempts i learnt that we all exist because we have to. i know it sounds like a bad thing but it doesnt have to be, it means we get the choice give meaning to anthing. from the moment we are born we are born free. shows like south park has been around since my childhood (im 18 now) and still i look back to those first seasons and learn from them. it really isnt a bad show and you should let you kids watch it amd gain some common sense because i think thats what that show really tries to emphasize. - uxserdvghbjl
  • I wonder if there is anybody like Sato-kun - Katsuragi Keima
  • I liked this anime. It feels depressing at some times. It just tells you the painful truths about some sort of things. This anime could change your life ;) - Earione
  • What if there was a Literature Club reunion one day like Senpai suggested? That would be cool to see how they ended up 10 years later. - ricardo
  • I love series like this that take common anime characteristics and flip them on their head. For me they've been the best of anime genres. I like it when shows comes up with original ideas as they are a rare thing these days anywhere. Whether you're in Japan or America. - max2082
  • Always this stupid "fart-voice" in Anime-Openings! -_- And such a "cute" opening doesn't fit in the freaky serie! ! ! >-< - Walter Sach
  • So many plot holes and things that don't make any sense and people still praising the show, lol. On the other hand i would enjoy it more if the characters weren't this unbelievable. - Waffen SS
  • This shit made the join the army, just so I could grow the fuck up. Wake-up call: The Anime, indeed.... - George Washington
  • Well, it's a good anime, but it gives false hopes for hikkikomori/neets in general. I mean, do you seriously think that a troubled cute girl like Misaki will fall from heaven and save you (and save herself as well, technically) ? That just not happens at all, mate. If you're a hikki, no one besides close friends(if they are IRL friends, they just might forget you instantanealy) and your family (after some time, they will forget 'bout ya too) cares 'bout you. If a counselor, or in the anime terms, a Misaki saved me like she did with Sato a long time ago, I wouldn't have lost 3 years of my life in this neet shitty situation. This is like ideology for Marx, just a falsification of reality. - The Kuwabara
  • @uxserdvghbjl Agree except for south park, most of the episodes sometimes don't teach anything. Some do, but not many. - Jaime Mata
  • I will never forget this anime. I want to be happy like the main character in the anime at the end. I want to rejoin society. - Sun Warrior
  • This music....I can't breathe...flooded with feels... Someone continue this great story with its great characters. Take me back to that world. - x anon
  • Honestly, I think watching this really made me think about my own life. It only took me a few days to watch the whole thing. I just graduated and I don't want to start working. But I guess that's just life. I hope everyone here finds their way. - TrueNeptune
  • i had just moved out of my parents house into an apartment when i had gotten fired... i was a few episodes into this series when i got fired and i binge watched it and studied it relentlessly - Daniel Kirk
  • This is such a great anime, so underrated it truly needs more recognition compared to the bullshit mainstream anime's such as Fairy Tail; seriously what the fuck is that compared to this!? 24 episodes of pure entertainment. The best part of this anime was how it captured the reality of a lot of people especially teenagers and young adults. Majority of us relate to Sato and the idea of being isolated in your own room for the sake of not participating in any means of contact with the outside world because fuck people sucks but it's for our good as we feel comfortable however at the same time it's extremely bad for us. Great anime i give it a 10/10. - Umair Mojaddidi
  • I watched the whole anime and i still dont know exactly what the NHK is, can someone plz explain? - 5th Kie...
  • i just finished this and ... ho god ... that just entered easily in my top 5 anime, for now. - Tommy Blouin
  • The feels! - Valkayre
  • My favorite part of this song is at about 1:16 because of all the drums & trumpets solos....not 'just' because of all the gals in swimsuits that appear during that section of the opening. Super catchy part! xD - Kaneco
  • This show is so fucksd up. Lmao - Something Outta Nothing
  • Gonna try this tomorrow I think, damn this OP is catchy! - Akemi Hatsune
  • love this song. - Um Jay
  • Love the song! It's got that upbeat yet bittersweet sound reminiscent to a lot of twee pop, along with the use of horns + maj7ths. - Dougy D
  • This song is magical and I really love this anime because I can kind of relate to it. <3 - Wendy Pls
  • Definitivamente el mejor anime que he visto hasta ahora en este año. - Uziel McFly
  • I'm not sure what it was about this show that pulled you in so much, but no other anime has managed to get me so immersed in the world before. - DemonSnacks
  • Mmmmmmmmmm. Warms my soul. I love everything about this song. - AndroidOO3
  • I love this song and also love the anime - Kevser KILINÇ
  • This anime is so powerful. This op is absolutely perfect - Wrsty 愛
  • The reason I love this anime so much is because the characters are more than just stereotypes. They have real problems that are not just handed to them for the sake of plot, but they actually grow and change throughout the story, unlike so many animes nowadays. - Sunlit Sky
  • Really sad how they later replaced the trumpets with guitars. The trumpets really make this song unique. - Jeriko251
